Journal of Communications (JCM, ISSN 1796-2021)
Special Issue on Advances in Wireless Communications
There has been a tremendous growth of demand in the high-speed multimedia communication services over
the wireless networks, which boosted up the interest in the fundamental as well as applied research on the
components and algorithms of wireless communication systems. However, there are still lots of challenges in
the modulation and coding, channel characterization, adaptive antenna design, multiple access techniques,
noise and interference elimination, receiver equalization, capacity enhancement, quality of service, and similar
other areas of research. Digital signal processing techniques are also getting important role in the wireless
systems for different applications. The objective of this special issue is to bring together the state-of-the-art
research contributions and developments that address the various critical issues in wireless communications
and applications.
